An open letter from Mark, touring in the UK and Europe are the major anniversaries for this week’s Scriptstory.
In the beginning of the month, Mark sent a message to the Irish fans about the lack of dates in Ireland that year:
To our Irish Crowd!
Hey were being asked alot about why we are not playing in Ireland at the mo so i thought id explain.. we are playing tons at home in 2009. the prob is weve just played to 15,000 people there in Late december and have to finish all the other dates around the world before we can come back. even ireland will get sick of us…
Were hoping to take it bigger and better though so as you prob know already were playing mainstage oxygen which is gonna be huge for us.. and were supporting take that in Croker too. were actually not able to do another show before these ones but after that we have a ton of shows planned all over the country this time and not just dublin. Honestly playing at home means more to us than anywhere else in the world. there is just something about playing to your own… no disrespect to the rest of the world but im sure you feel the same about your home too, so cool beans.
Please enjoy the tour, we’ve upped the anti so i hope you all enjoy. ahhh sure well see yis at a bar near you
peace and love
