Memory lane: studio work

2 years ago, when, similarly to today, The Script left us to work in the studio, I wrote a series to have a look at what’s that’s like.

There are many places those songs we love were created, from Los Angeles to London.

The first album was started in Santa Monica, where Danny, Mark and Glen first got together.

Then they continued their work in Dublin in a home studio where Mark could stay close to her mother who was in hospital by that time. Sadly, she couldn’t see the success her son reached with The Script.

The album the was finalised in London where the trio moved to the urging of their label.

Do you know the song “Live Like You’re Dying”? It was written in one day for Guardian.
