This week in #Scriptstory (February 15-21)

This week welcomed some award nominations and wins in the history of The Script.


The band had 2 dates in the Netherlands and Belgium continuing the extensive European tour with the first album.

February 20 2009: Melkweg, Amsterdam, Netherlands

February 21 2009: Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, Belgium


February 19 2010: The band took home the Irish Meteor award for Best Live Act which was their second award of this kind in Ireland.

February 15 2011: The Script were nominated for Best International Act at the Brit Awards.’s Black Eyed Peas were also nominated in the same category on the Brits. The award was won by Canadian group Arcade Fire. (Wikipedia)

February 20 2011: the single ‘If You Ever Come Back’ is released but sadly without a major dent on the official charts.


The video for ‘If You Could See Me Now’ video was released this week, a very personal video of the band’s most treasured moments that they would’ve loved to share with their deceased parent.

Another BRIT Awards ceremony with The Script nominated for Best International Group. Danny famously said about the award that he was not looking forward to winning it as it’s, in his opinion, for lesser-known bands.


The UK leg of the NSWS tour kicked off in Scotland.
